I was wrong about the new iPad Pro 2024

Apple “Let Loose” event last night shows us some inventions. As I predicted the new iPad should be M3 model instead of M4, that was overshoot. Let’s summarize and consider the new iPad 2024 value

iPad Pro Value

The iPad Pro justifies its higher cost with advanced features like the M4 chip, OLED displays (called ‘Ultra’ Retina XDR), and 120Hz ProMotion technology, offering a superior user experience compared to the iPad Air.

• Display Quality: The iPad Pro’s display surpasses the iPad Air’s with OLED panels and ProMotion technology, enhancing visuals and interface smoothness — hopefully there is no blooming anymore
• Magic Keyboard: The new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro excels with added features like a full function row and haptic feedback trackpad, though it’s not compatible with the iPad Air.
• Camera Improvements: The iPad Pro enhances its camera setup, while the iPad Air maintains its single camera design, making the Pro more versatile for tasks like scanning.

iPad Air Value

With a larger 13-inch display and support for the Apple Pencil Pro, the iPad Air delivers good value and a great user experience at a more affordable price point.

Things I personally grateful for 2024 iPad Pro

• Apple clearly states tech spec difference in 512GB and 1TB model
